UNIT OBJECTIVES:

1. Learn about the course
2. Meet professor, introduce yourself
3. Intro to online and discussion board formats
4. Start thinking about contemporary Asian American issues

• Register and complete user profile . Please use your full name or your first name and the first letter of your last name for your userid. For example, my user name would be Steven R. I let people put whatever the last time but then it was super confusing during chat/discussion.
• Take the entry quiz.
• Buy the course textbook
• Individual blogs - For this course, you have very own blog! Please post an introduction as your first blog post. Once logged in, look for the link Write a Blog Entry in the User Menu just to the left. I'll be using my blog on the site for announcements and updates about the class. These announcements should then show up on the front page or in the Newsflash section.
